Samuel Billaud - Chablis - Les Fourneaux - 1er Cru

Samuel Billaud is one of Chablis's most respected independent producers, farming his own parcels after leaving the family domaine to vinify under his own name. Les Fourneaux is a premier cru lieu-dit on the right bank of the Serein, facing south-east and delivering riper, more generous fruit than many of its neighbours.

Expect the hallmarks of serious Chablis — flint, green apple, lemon zest and a saline, chalky minerality — with the extra weight and texture that premier cru fruit brings. At 13% ABV it stays focused and food-friendly. Serve with oysters, langoustines, sea bass en papillote, or a well-sourced plateau de fruits de mer.
