Frescobaldi - Gorgona - Toscana IGT

Gorgona is produced by Frescobaldi on the island of Gorgona — Italy's smallest inhabited island and a working prison farm off the Tuscan coast. The wine carries Toscana IGT status and is built around Vermentino, a grape well suited to the island's maritime conditions.

Expect the coastal character typical of island-grown Vermentino: saline lift, citrus pith, and a clean, mineral-driven finish at a moderate 12.5% abv. On board, it works well alongside white fish, pasta with seafood or vegetables, charcuterie, and lighter tapas-style plates.
