Domaine Roger Belland's Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet comes from the smallest of the Montrachet grand crus, a tiny parcel lying entirely within Chassagne-Montrachet. Chardonnay planted here shares the same clay-and-limestone soils as its larger neighbours, giving a grand cru of real concentration despite its scale.

Expect a rich, powerful white with ripe orchard fruit, a touch of brioche, and a firm mineral core that carries through a long finish. Serve alongside shellfish, creamy pasta, or a board of Brie and other soft cheeses for a match with equal weight.
