Domaine Roger Belland farms in Chassagne-Montrachet, and this Premier Cru comes from the Morgeot-Clos Pitois vineyard, a site within the appellation known for depth and a firmer mineral core than village-level wines. It is 100% Chardonnay, vinified for structure as much as fruit.

On the table it has the weight to match richer dishes, think shellfish in butter sauces, oily fish such as salmon, or a well-aged cheese board. At 13% abv it carries enough body for charcuterie too. Serve at 12-14°C to let the texture and minerality show properly.
