Domaine Raveneau - Chablis - Les Clos - Grand Cru

Domaine Raveneau's Les Clos is drawn from one of Chablis's most celebrated Grand Cru vineyards, planted to Chardonnay on the steep Kimmeridgian slopes above the town. Grand Cru status here means depth of soil and southerly exposure, giving a wine of real concentration and ageing potential.

Expect flinty minerality, citrus and orchard fruit, and a taut, saline finish that lengthens in the glass. Serve at 12-14°C with turbot, lobster or a rich beurre blanc - a serious white for the owner's table.
