Domaine Leflaive - Bâtard-Montrachet - Grand Cru

Domaine Leflaive's Bâtard-Montrachet comes from one of Burgundy's grandest white Grand Cru vineyards, straddling Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Made entirely from Chardonnay, it sits at the top of the Côte de Beaune hierarchy, a wine of real power and precision from a producer synonymous with the appellation.

Expect a dense, textured white with layers of ripe orchard fruit, brioche and a mineral, saline backbone that carries through a long finish. Serve at 12-14°C with shellfish, oily fish, or a well-chosen cheese and charcuterie board.
