Les Perrieres is Domaine Berthenet's Premier Cru Montagny, a Chardonnay from this lesser-known corner of the Côte Chalonnaise in Burgundy. Montagny is unusual in being a Premier Cru appellation exclusively for white wine, and this bottling reflects the domaine's focus on precise, terroir-driven Chardonnay from the region's limestone slopes.

Expect a wine with real structure and grip: orchard fruit and citrus, a mineral core and enough weight to stand up to richer dishes. Serve at 12-14°C with shellfish, oily fish, brie or a cheese and charcuterie board.
