Tapatio - Tequila Blanco 110

Tapatio Blanco 110 is a high-proof unaged tequila from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, bottled at 55% ABV — the traditional strength favoured by distillers who want nothing standing between the agave and the glass. Tapatio is one of the respected family-run distilleries of the region, producing in a classically artisanal style.

Expect raw, vivid blue agave character: herbaceous, peppery, with a waxy, mineral backbone and real weight on the palate. That extra proof makes it outstanding in cocktails — a Margarita or Paloma built with this has proper structure — though it also rewards sipping neat alongside ceviche or grilled fish.
