Andromeda is Sean Thackrey's Pinot Noir from Marin County, California, made by a producer known for an unconventional, hands-off approach to winemaking. It draws on the cooler coastal pockets of Marin, a region better known for small, distinctive growers than for scale.

Expect a Pinot Noir with wild-edged character, savoury and slightly untamed compared with more polished versions of the grape. Serve at 15-17°C with roast game birds, mushroom risotto or duck, where its earthier, more idiosyncratic profile has something to push against.
