Marques de Riscal - Gran Reserva

Marques de Riscal makes this Gran Reserva in Rioja Alavesa from Tempranillo, released under the Gran Reserva classification that requires extended ageing before release under Rioja's regulations. It is a wine built for patience, showing the mature, savoury character that long cellar time brings to Tempranillo.

Expect dried red fruit, leather, tobacco and vanilla-inflected oak, with soft, resolved tannins and a long, warming finish. Serve at 16-18°C alongside beef, duck, charcuterie, aged hard cheeses or hearty stews - a classic, food-friendly red for formal dinners on board.
