Lucien Aviet et Fils - Caveau de Bacchus - Arbois - Cuvee des Geologues Trousseau Ruzard Rosière

Cuvée des Géologues is a Trousseau from Lucien Aviet et Fils, made under the Caveau de Bacchus label in Arbois, the historic heart of the Jura. Trousseau is the region's rarer red grape, giving wines paler in colour and lighter in body than most reds, but with real character.

Expect a fine, savoury red with peppery spice, red berry fruit and a slightly rustic, earthy edge. Serve cool, at 14-16°C, alongside charcuterie, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses or venison for a match true to the Jura's own table.
