Ktima Gerovassiliou - Evangelo - Syrah

Evangelo is the Syrah-based red from Ktima Gerovassiliou, grown on the estate's coastal vineyards in Epanomi, northern Greece. Syrah is blended with a small measure of Viognier, a Rhône-style pairing that lifts aromatics while the Syrah carries structure and depth. The wine reflects a producer known for precise, terroir-driven winemaking in a region more associated with international grapes than native ones.

Expect dark fruit, peppery spice and firm tannin, built for the table rather than the aperitif. Pour with beef, lamb or venison, and let it stand up to hard, aged cheeses after the main course.
