Feudi di San Gregorio - Pàtrimo Rosso - Campania IGT

Pàtrimo is Feudi di San Gregorio's Merlot from Campania, bottled under IGT rather than one of the region's traditional DOCs. It is a single-varietal expression, grown in southern Italian soils more usually associated with Aglianico and Fiano, giving the producer scope to work Merlot on its own terms rather than as a blending grape.

Expect a dense, structured red at 14.5% abv, built for the table rather than sipping alone. Serve at 16-18°C alongside grilled or roasted meats, lamb, game birds or a well-stocked cheeseboard. It also stands up to tomato-based pasta dishes, useful for menus that need one bottle to cover several courses on board.
