Château Lafite Rothschild - Pauillac

Deep garnet-purple in colour, the 2017 Lafite Rothschild (97% Cabernet Sauvignon) opens slowly with restrained notes of blackcurrant, mulberry and chocolate-covered cherries, alongside hints of earth, smoke and florals. Medium-bodied and elegant, the palate builds from a light, ethereal entry to layered red and black fruits with savoury complexity. Fine-grained tannins and vibrant freshness lead to a long, perfumed finish.
