Chateau Beychevelle - Médoc - Amiral de Beychevelle Saint-Julien
Beschreibung
Amiral de Beychevelle is the Saint-Julien bottling from Chateau Beychevelle, produced under the broader Médoc umbrella of this well-known left-bank estate. The blend is built on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, giving a wine with the structure and gravelly minerality typical of Saint-Julien, at a moderate 13.5% abv.
Expect cassis and dark cherry fruit, firm tannin and a savoury, cedary edge that opens with air. Serve at 16-18°C alongside beef, lamb, venison or game birds — this is a wine built for the grill and the roasting tray, not the aperitif hour.
