Ceretto - Barbaresco Asili - Barbaresco DOCG

Ceretto's Barbaresco Asili comes from the Asili cru, one of the classic single-vineyard sites within Barbaresco DOCG, on the right bank of the Tanaro in Piedmont. It is made entirely from Nebbiolo, the grape responsible for the region's most perfumed and structured reds, at 14% abv.

Expect the variety's signature lift of rose petal and dried cherry over a firm tannic frame and bright acidity, softening with air into something silkier without losing grip. Serve at 16-18°C alongside braised beef, lamb, venison or a mushroom risotto - dishes with enough weight and earthiness to meet the wine on equal terms.
