Buffalo Trace Distillery - O.F.C. - Old Fashioned Copper - Bourbon

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, bottles this O.F.C. bourbon under a name that recalls the distillery's original Old Fashioned Copper pot stills. It is aged in new charred oak, as required of any straight Kentucky bourbon, giving the whiskey its deep amber colour and structure.

Expect the classic bourbon register: vanilla, caramel and baked orchard fruit, with a warming, oak-spiced finish. Serve neat or over a single large cube after dinner, or use it as the backbone of a proper Old Fashioned at the yacht bar.
