Bruno Rocca - Barbaresco

Bruno Rocca makes this Barbaresco DOCG from Nebbiolo grown in Piedmont, the grape's spiritual home. Barbaresco typically shows a touch more finesse than its Barolo neighbour, and this wine follows that template of structure balanced with perfume.

Expect firm, fine-grained tannin, dried rose and tar aromatics, and a savoury core that rewards food. It is built for the table: grilled beef, lamb, venison or a good truffle risotto all work well. Serve at 16-18°C, ideally with time to breathe before pouring.
