Argiolas - Senes - Riserva - Cannonau di Sardegna DOC

Argiolas makes this Riserva from Cannonau, Sardinia's own strain of Grenache, grown on the island under the Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. Riserva status means extra time in cask and bottle before release, giving the wine more structure and depth than a standard bottling. At 14.5% ABV, it carries the warmth and ripeness the variety is known for on this sun-baked island.

Expect a generous, savoury red with dark cherry fruit, dried herb notes and a firm, warming finish. Serve at 16-18°C alongside lamb, venison or beef, or with a hearty pasta dish where the wine's structure has something to push against.
