Argiano - Solengo - Toscana IGT

Solengo is Argiano's 'Super Tuscan' blend, made in Montalcino under the broader Toscana IGT designation that allows the estate to work with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot alongside Sangiovese. The mix leans international, giving a wine built more on Bordeaux structure than classic Sangiovese acidity, though the local grape still leaves its mark on the finished blend.

Expect a dense, dark-fruited red with firm tannin and real weight at 14.5% abv - a wine for the table, not sipping alone. Pour with beef, lamb or game birds, grilled meats and charcuterie, or alongside mushroom and truffle dishes and aged Parmesan. Serve at 16-18°C.
