Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru from Albert Bichot's Domaine du Clos Frantin, made entirely from Pinot Noir grown within the walled vineyard of Vougeot in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, one of the region's largest grand crus.

Expect a wine of structure and depth: dark cherry and forest-floor notes, firm tannins and a savoury, mineral backbone that rewards food. Serve at 16-18°C alongside beef, venison, game birds or duck — dishes with enough weight and richness to meet its power.
